Inside Jones Ballard

Inside Jones Ballard

As always, a lot has been going on behind the scenes here at JB HQ with new staff, workplace anniversaries, a special wedding anniversary, a new staff member and another successful JB Christmas party!

Tori-Lee is the newest member of the Jones Ballard family, joined us in December as the Executive Assistant to Shaun Yeo. Although new to the real estate industry, Tori-Lee is taking the new position in her stride along with a friendly smile and positive energy which is what we love here at JB! Tori-Lee will be working towards her Real Estate Sales Registration Certificate and is excited to plunge into learning the ins and outs of the industry. Welcome to the team Tori-Lee!

This quarter we celebrated the work anniversaries of 6 members of Jones Ballard! Congratulations to Property Consultant Giuli Zirino, who has been with us for 14 years, Property Manager Mellery Maclou who has been with us for 4 years, Property Manager Tyisha Barker who has been with us 3 years and Ross Gebert (Property Consultant), Josh Biglin (Professional Sales Assistant) and Paige Carter (PM Administrator) who have all been with JB for a year!

The matriarch of Jones Ballard, Kareena Ballard, along with her husband Ross will be celebrating their Wedding Anniversary next month. Married on the 15th February in 1969, they have 2 children and 5 grandchildren and will be celebrating in style with friends and family and special champagne! Congratulations to you two love birds from your Jones Ballard family!

Jones Ballard Amazing Race!

Sophie and Dara created the wonderful Jones Ballard Amazing Race as our Christmas Party this year and it’s safe to say it was a huge success! They put us into teams of three or four and in true Jones Ballard style, the competiveness came through – from team costumes to *friendly* heckling throughout the race!

Starting at the office on Labouchere Road, we ran for the bus, finding ourselves competing in a kayaking relay, ice blocks in the shade, across the Swan River on the Transperth Ferry and chasing each other around Elizabeth Quay and surrounding streets before a well-deserved drink and delicious food at The Island. Some controversial techniques were used to get to the finish line including, but not limited to, illegal Uber rides, multiple beer stops by certain teams… and skipping some stops altogether (we know who you are!) but there could have only been one winner! Nik and Bec Jones, Josh Biglin and Adrian Ballard took out number 1 – the glory of which we will likely hear about all year!

Here are some photos of our day:
